Queen Maud is the 29th queen of Vencea. She was wed to King Ronald when she was 21 years old and became queen when his father, King Ronald VII, passed away. The two met in Trench City when the king was still a prince and visited the city for four years.

She was born in Central Trench City and grew up there with her parents, Buggy and Wendy Chardain, and her sister, Rosaline. She excelled at school, especially in literature and music, and was planning to become a theater performer before marrying the king.

The people of Vencea love Queen Maud and much prefer her over the king. The Queen knows this but she doesn't rub it in.
