The Empty Plains
Location	West of Vencea

The Empty Plains are vast plains to the west of Vencea. They are mostly stretches of tall grasses and others with just bare ground, although some areas are sparsely covered in short trees. There are various large herds of different grazing animals, as well as smaller reptiles, birds, mammals, and insects that hide in the grass or in burrows. There is a constant danger of large grass fires or dust storms, depending on the ground cover.

The Divided Alliance was formed when displaced people groups moved onto the Plains and united for strength. They have made the areas of the Plains where they live more fertile, via irrigation and limited magic, and grow crops and raise livestock. There aren't any permanent large settlements as the members of the Alliance groups need to stay mobile in the face of the fires and storms.
