About Skulls

I tried many online comics (Bug & Worm, Lair of the Lizardmin, Drawing It Up!, and more) but was was looking to try something new. I was enjoying making silly animations in Blender3D but I had always wanted to try combining my 3D modeling with more hand drawn comics. I decided to just start something with no real idea of what it would be or where it would go and to see if I could complete 20 pages worth. I posted it to Instagram and Twitter to keep myself accountable. Many pages later I'm still going and I still have no idea what it is or where it's going (you may be able to tell by reading it).

Story/Characters

Skulls takes place is the unexplainable, empty void of Noplace. Headless "Nobodies" appear and must find one of the random objects scattered about to use as their head (or skull) or vanish from existance...

	Name:	IO (for Input/Output)
	Skull:	CRT Monitor
	About:	IO stood for a long while at a Welcome sign and greeted new Nobodies. After meeting D.B. she decided to leave and discover who put her there and what exactly Noplace is all about.

	Name:	D.B. (short for D.B.H., which stands for Duck Box Head)
	Skull:	Old cardboard box with a Captain's hat
	About:	IO greeted D.B. when he popped into existance. He inspired her to leave her post and set off on an Epic Adventure along with him.

	Name:	"Chuck"
	Skull:	A brick
	About:	Chuck is an odd white bird IO and D.B. (and others) found hovering around a brick, apparently unable to leave it. He joined the group when D.B. discovered he could store Chuck's brick in his head.

I'm a web application/database programmer by day and a comic artist by night (or any other time I can work it in).

I use Blender3D and Clip Studio Paint to create the comic.
